The Claremont Hotel is an adult-only, dog-friendly hotel nestled in the heart of Polperro, a quintessentially Cornish fishing village on the south-west coast of England

The hotel enjoys a privileged position in the centre of the village and our much-envied private car park, directly opposite the hotel, provides our guests with a convenient base from which to explore the rest of Cornwall. After enjoying one of our excellent breakfasts, you are ready to take a stroll down to Polperro's picturesque harbour, just a five minute walk from the hotel. Take a wander along its quaint streets and have a browse in the local independent shops, sample a Cornish cream tea or a traditional Cornish Pasty.

More active travellers may wish to experience the breath-taking views along the South West coast path to Looe or Fowey, with the option of catching the bus back for tired feet.

After sampling what the village has to offer, why not come back to the hotel and treat yourself to a local Cornish Cider or a Gin and tonic on our terrace; a perfect way to relax and unwind in the afternoon sunshine.
